The Private Joint Stock Company (PrJSC) "Kryvyi Rih Plant of Mining Equipment" (KZGO) was established in 2001 on the basis of the OJSC "Kryvyi Rih Central Plant of Ore-mining Equipment", which is one of the leading enterprises of Ukraine in the production of spare parts, machine components, units and machines for mining and metallurgical complexes for over 40 years.
Technical capacity of the PrJSC "KZHO" provides a full-cycle production, which begins with the preparation of charge and moulding materials, cast-iron and steel casting, heat treatment and forging before machine working and assembling parts into units, mechanisms and machines. The full-cycle metallurgical complex is the basis for the billet warehouse and the major technological chain of production: from smelting over 40 grades of steel and alloys to obtain the finished casting, forgings and pressings.
Due to the type of production organization mainly universal equipment is installed at the PrJSC "KZHO". The lathes and equipment fleet of the PrJSC "KZHO" provides performing of different kinds of materials processing and production of unique parts and units.
The range of products amounts 5000 items with new products for both domestic and foreign machinery constantly being developed. The company is looking for new markets. Currently, the main consumers of its products are North, Central, South, Inguletskyi, Poltava, Lebedinskyi and Mykhailivskyi mining and processing works as well as Asovstal and ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih. The company also exports 20-25 % of the issued parts, mainly to Russia and Bulgaria.
In recent years Kryvyi Rih Plant of Mining Equipment shows strong production growth among machine-building enterprises having proved itself to be a reliable partner in the traditional markets.
