"Most of all I was impressed by the panorama of the city. I also liked the stories of the guide about the history of the city; abandoned mines, open mine shaft of 400 m turned to be very interesting as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of nature, the way the surface of the dumps are being greened up, without any human intervention. I liked the participants of excursions - curious, interesting people."
"We loved all the excursion, took a lot of cool pictures. We’ll tell our friends about the places we visited, although it is surely better to see all this with your own eyes and estimate by yourself."
"Every year, my family and we go on trips to the western part of Ukraine, but the trip in our hometown is for the first time for us. Today's tour has proved that in Kryvyi Rih there are some unique places about which we even did not guess.
We were very impressed by the open pit - a huge hole in the midst of the wilderness, which you suddenly come across when walking along the slight hills and glades. We got a lot of fun and physical activities, we are going to take part in the tours like this, we are especially interested in visiting open pit of PJSC "UGOK"
"We would like to express our gratitude to the City Development Institution for the invitation on the tour. For the first time in our life we saw a sink hole of "Ordzhonikidze" mine, though we heard much about this place, we have never seen this place with our own eyes. We also visited the Flower Clock for the first time. We felt incredible pride of our hometown and believe that such trips should be held more often for young people and open them the beauty of Kryvyi Rih."
"Most of the objects at the excursion were not new to me, because due to my with the work I have had the opportunity to visit them, but nevertheless I was particularly impressed and 3D gallery and open pit. It is great that there were the representatives of PJSC "UGOK” among the excursionists who could tell about the everyday work of open pit workers – their working clothes, working shifts, etc."
"There were many facts which I learned for the first time. I discovered the history of the city, because this is the information which is not given on the lectures at the Institute or in class at school. I think this is a great way to show the history of Kryvyi Rih and its attractive places in a simple, unobtrusive way."
"I’m not for the first time on the industrial tourism excursion, as I had an opportunity to go on a night tour on Burschytskyy dump. This time, I learned a lot about the river Saksagan and other facts from the city history. It is remarkable that we can both clearly hear and see historic sites as well as visit those places, where you could hardly ever get on your own."
"It is difficult to wash the feet from red earth afterwards and it looks pretty unique. I think that due to some efforts, tourism to such sites is a very promising thing, especially for the growing number of thrill-seekers".
"Kryvyi Rih (Ukraine) is a globallysense is an important center for iron ore and metallurgy of the region. It is also considered to be the longest city in Europe. It is perfect for industrial tourism."
"Red city with industrial heart..."
